Job Description:

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services required for the construction projects in the oil and gas industry. They collaborate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies while maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and market trends in the oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements and budget constraints.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and provide procurement support.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
• Manage inventory levels, track purchase orders, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
