operations in Kuwait.

Job Description:

 

We are looking for highly organized candidates with good quantitative ability for the position of fleet coordinator. Candidate should be responsible for assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet, maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency, among other duties.

Moreover, fleet coordinator will need to discipline drivers who are not making efficient use of their time, requiring excellent leadership and decision making skill.

Responsibilities:
  1. Purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries
  1. Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
  1. Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
  1. Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
  1. Registering and licensing all vehicles under their management
  1. Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
  1. Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
  1. Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  1. Complying with K.S.A Department of Transport laws and regulations.
  1. Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  1. Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules by coordinating with workshops / suppliers
  1. Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  1. Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
  1. Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and update on daily basis fleet moments.
  1. Utilizing Aldrees – WAIE System to monitor fuel consumption and update the information
  1. Coordinate with Warehouse team to arrange the transportation for the daily dispatches
  1. Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
  1. Formalizing documents / emails & approvals for accounting purposes

 

Requirements :
  1. Degree in Logistics
  1. 2+ years in a logistics role
  1. Experience in the transportation industry.
  1. Outstanding organizational skills.
  1. Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
  1. Quantitative ability & attention to detail.
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication. (Arabic / English)
